Our History & Vision

Pastor Larry P. Smith

Dear Friends,

It was in the spring of 1975 when a small group of believers started meeting in our living room to worship the Lord, study His Word together, and seek direction for their lives. As time went on, others began joining them. This was the beginning of Grace of God Fellowship. For many years to follow, we would continue to meet in all types of places ~ basements, living rooms, the woods, rented schools, and even in a borrowed church for a short period of time. This would continue until the Christian Center was completed January 17, 1988.

Our Vision:
Reach the lost and dying of this world with the message of Jesus Christ. Be an instrument of unity within the Body of Christ.

Equip God’s people for works of service to our Lord by the power of the Holy Spirit & solid Bible teaching.

Grace of God Fellowship is a family-oriented, Bible-believing church that enjoys worshiping the Lord with lively worship and praise. In all of our excitement, however, we have a heavy emphasis on studying the complete Word in the context in which it was written. In short, our vision is to be an extended part of your family, equipping you, training you, and inspiring you in every area of your walk with the Lord.

Around 2006 our ministry took a turn. We have always been a fellowship that experienced signs, wonders and miracles, but our focus was on the fact that God wants to heal you and bless you. But in 2006 we started focusing on the fact that God wants you to be a blessing to others. We started “The School of Healing and Miracles.” We started better equipping the saints for the works of service [Eph. 4:11-16], teaching others how to pray more effectively seeing healings and miracles coming through their hands and their words by the power of God. Some of that fruit can be seen on our Testimony page. Between what has been happening in our services, our outreach ministries, conferences we have attending and going to Brazil on a mission trip, Peggy and I have seen over 3000 people raise their hands or tell us that they have been healed in just the last couple of years!

We have never been so excited about what God is doing. My prayer is that you become a part of that.
